Dr. Michael Breus serves the Axon Labs Scientific Advisory Board as an expert in sleep education and consumer motivation.  Breus is a board-certified clinical psychologist with a specialty in Sleep Disorders and Neuropsychological Testing, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine.
Known as “The Sleep Doctor,” Breus is the author of the critically acclaimed book, Good Night: The Sleep Doctor’s 4-Week Program to Better Sleep and Better Health.  He is also an AOL® Wellness Coach, and has served as the Sleep Expert for WebMD®, a leading internet site for health-related information.
Breus has published studies in numerous medical journals including the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and the Journal of Pharmacology, Biochemistry and Behavior.  He is frequently featured in popular publications including Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Shape, Parent’s Magazine, Cosmopolitan and the New York Times.  Breus has also made appearances on The Today Show, The View, CNN and The Early Show.
Breus holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Skidmore College, and a M.A. and PhD. from the University of Georgia.
