Project SleepSmart™ uses sophisticated algorithms to determine sleep stages. These algorithms are sets of complex equations that automatically analyze the waveforms to reveal sleep cycles and activate the alarm at the optimal time. Our algorithms combine the equations using a form of artificial intelligence called a neural network. Neural networks were developed to simulate the workings of the brain.
